Joyeuses Pâques

Spring has been showing us it’s glory since February when the bright yellow Mimosa trees were the first to blossom. Then in March, dainty white petals that fall like snow and pretty pink blossom of various fruit trees appeared, making the garden colourful again.

This year I’ve been appreciating Spring more than I have ever before. Watching wild flowers pop up and butterflies dancing around them has been a comfort to me during a difficult time of bereavement for my family. In nature I can see new life and it gives me hope, and I feel lucky to experience it here in the sunshine and beautiful surrounds.

With Easter nearly here, I’d like to wish everyone a “Joyeuses Pâques!” For me, Easter is a time of contemplation, of joy and sharing good times with family. This weekend we are also joining in celebrations for a special baby boy at his Welcome Ceremony, where I hear there will be an Easter Egg Hunt…I know my Petit Garçon will love it!

Have a great weekend and thanks for reading.

  1. Beautiful photos of glorious trees in full bloom. Spring as you say, is such a special, hopeful joyous time of year and so beautiful in the Riviera. Happy Easter to you too Riviera Mama!

  2. This resonated with me. I’ve always found defaulting to gratitude and counting my blessings as an effective way of getting through difficult and tough times. It’s a good habit to have x
